Book a 10-day tour from Agadir that will take you through the desert. During this journey, you will visit the ancient city of Chefchaouen and the imperial cities of Fez, Rabat, and Marrakech. You will also enjoy the landscapes of the Sous region and visit Taroudant, Taznakht, and the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. In addition, you will experience a camel trek and a desert excursion through the dunes of Erg Chebbi—an essential experience during your stay in Morocco.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Agadir

Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to your riad or hotel in Morocco. Depending on your arrival time in Agadir, you may visit some local points of interest. Overnight stay in a riad or hotel.

Day 2: Agadir – Marrakech

After breakfast, you will begin your 10-day journey from Agadir to the imperial capital of Marrakech. Along the way, you will make several stops to take photos and enjoy the scenery. In Marrakech, you will meet our local guide for a walking tour of the Medina lasting about two hours. You will visit historical monuments, including the famous Bahia Palace. Afterwards, you will stroll through the gardens of the Koutoubia Mosque before heading to the Menara Gardens and nearby sites. In the afternoon, you will visit Jemaa El-Fna Square, where you can enjoy the lively atmosphere and street performances. Overnight stay in a riad or hotel.

Day 3: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat

On the way from Marrakech to Rabat, you will stop in Casablanca. There, you will begin by visiting the Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest mosque in Africa and the seventh-largest in the world. You will then continue to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco, located on the Atlantic Ocean. You will visit the former palaces of King Mohammed V and King Hassan II. Walking through the Kasbah of the Oudayas, you will reach the Hassan Tower, built in the 12th century. You will also visit the Chellah Necropolis, dating back to the Phoenician period. Overnight stay in a riad or hotel.

Day 4: Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, you will continue your journey from Rabat to Chefchaouen, passing through rural villages. Chefchaouen is a blue city famous for the color of its buildings, linked to ancient Jewish traditions and beliefs. This blue hue covers the city and gives it a unique charm, creating a sense of calm and well-being. Upon arrival, you will have time to walk through the Medina and visit places such as Ras El-Ma, the Kasbah Museum, and Uta El-Hammam Square. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, you will continue your 10-day tour from Agadir. You will head toward Volubilis, crossing the Rif Mountains and their villages. Volubilis is a collection of Roman ruins and an important archaeological and historical site. You will then continue to Zerhoun and the 17th-century imperial city of Meknes, surrounded by massive walls. Highlights include Bab Mansour Gate, Sahrij Swani, and the Qara Prison. Later, you will continue to Fez, where you will spend the night in a riad.

Day 6: Guided Tour of Fez

On this day, you will visit one of the most important cities in the country. In the morning, a guide will accompany you to explore this royal city, the oldest and most sacred in Morocco. You will enjoy a guided tour of the Medina, full of artisans and merchants. You will visit the Al-Attarine Madrasa and Bou Inania Madrasa, then see the Al-Najjarine Fountain and Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque. At the end, you will enjoy a panoramic view of Fez. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 7: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga

After breakfast, you will continue the tour toward Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” You will then stop in Azrou to visit the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas, where you can see monkeys and take photos. You will continue to Midelt, famous for its minerals and apples. You will also stop in the Ziz Valley to admire panoramic views of palm groves. Afterwards, you will visit Erfoud, known for its fossil products. You will arrive in Merzouga, where you will spend the night in a riad or hotel. Later, you will enjoy a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to the desert camp, where you will spend the night in tents.

Day 8: Merzouga Desert Excursion

After breakfast, you will begin an excursion through different areas of the desert. You will visit an oasis and the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music. You will then continue to visit Berber nomadic families and spend some time with them. In the afternoon, you will return to Merzouga for another camel ride to enjoy the sunset before spending another night in a desert tent. Dinner will be followed by Berber music around a campfire.

Day 9: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

You will watch the sunrise over the dunes, then have breakfast and a shower at the camp. You will continue toward the Tafilalet palm grove, stopping in Rissani to visit its traditional market. Then you will head to Touroug and the Todra Gorges, where you will have time for lunch and a walk. You will continue through the Dades Valley, passing a series of canyons and palm groves. Then you will travel to Ouarzazate via the Skoura palm grove. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 10: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Taroudant – Agadir

On your final day, you will visit the main sights of Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” and the “Hollywood of Africa.” You will visit the Atlas Film Studios, then continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will then travel to Taznakht, known for its carpets, and on to Taliouine, the saffron capital, where you will visit a local cooperative. Finally, you will arrive in Taroudant and then continue to Agadir, where your 10-day tour from Agadir comes to an end.
