Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Our driver will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After resting, you will visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, the Corniche, and the Place des Palmiers. Overnight stay in Casablanca.
Day 2: Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we will travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. You will visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Hassan Tower. Then, we continue to Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains and known as the “Blue City.” Overnight stay in a traditional riad.
Day 3: Exploring Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you will have a full day to explore the so-called Blue Pearl. Stroll through its Andalusian-style medina, visit the Kasbah Museum, the Spanish Mosque, the Ras El-Ma waterfalls, and its charming local craft shops. Overnight in the same riad.
Day 4: Chefchaouen → Meknes → Volubilis → Fez
After breakfast, we head to Meknes, where we will visit Bab Mansour, El Hedim Square, and the old medina. After lunch, we continue to Volubilis, the famous Roman ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will also enjoy panoramic views of the holy city of Moulay Idriss. In the afternoon, we arrive in Fez, where we will stay in the historic medina.
Day 5: Guided Tour in Fez
Today you will enjoy a guided tour of Fez, one of the oldest cities in the Islamic world. You will see the Royal Palace, the Mellah Jewish quarter, Fez el-Bali Medina, Al-Qarawiyyin University, Chouara Tanneries, Al-Attarine Museum, Bab Boujloud, and the Merinid tombs. Afterwards, you will have free time before spending another night in the city.
Day 6: Fez → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
After breakfast, we travel through the Middle Atlas, with a first stop in Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland.” Then, we visit the Cedar Forest to see Barbary monkeys. Lunch will be in Midelt, and we continue toward the Ziz Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves. Finally, we arrive in Merzouga, where you will have dinner and stay in a hotel facing the dunes.
Day 7: Merzouga Desert Excursion
Today we will explore the surroundings of Erg Chebbi. We will visit the village of Khamlia to listen to Gnawa music and then meet a nomadic family. We continue through areas used by the Dakar Rally and fossil mines. In the afternoon, return to the hotel to prepare for a sunset camel ride. You will spend the night in a Berber camp under the stars, with dinner and traditional music.
Day 8: Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
Before breakfast, we recommend enjoying the sunrise over the dunes. Then, return to the village by camel to shower. We will visit the traditional market of Rissani (especially lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays) and a fossil factory in Erfoud. Next, we travel to the spectacular Todra Gorges, and finally to the Dades Valley, where you will have dinner and stay overnight in a riad.
Day 9: Dades Valley → Valley of the Roses → Skoura → Ouarzazate
After breakfast, enjoy the views of the Dades Valley and visit a nomad house in Boutaghrar. Continue to the Valley of the Roses in Kelaa M’Gouna, where you will meet a local cooperative. Then, visit the Amridil Kasbah in Skoura and finish the day in Ouarzazate, where you will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 10: Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
In the morning, we visit Atlas Film Studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt. Afterwards, we head to the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After lunch, we cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with panoramic stops and an optional visit to an argan oil cooperative. Arrival in Marrakech and overnight in a riad.
Day 11: Guided Tour in Marrakech
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech’s main attractions, including Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, the medina, and the souks. You can also visit the Majorelle Garden. In the evening, experience the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna Square. Overnight in the same accommodation.
Day 12: Marrakech → Essaouira
After breakfast, we travel to Essaouira, a coastal city known for its walled medina. On the way, we will visit argan oil cooperatives and trees where goats often climb. In Essaouira, you will have free time to explore the medina, enjoy the beach, or taste fresh seafood. Overnight stay in a riad.
Day 13: Essaouira → El Jadida → Casablanca
After breakfast, we continue along the coast to El Jadida, the former Portuguese fortress called Mazagan. You will stroll through its historic medina before continuing to Casablanca, where you will have free time depending on your arrival. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 14: Departure – Airport Transfer
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Casablanca (or Marrakech) airport according to your flight schedule. If time allows, you can revisit the Hassan II Mosque. This concludes your 14-day tour of Morocco.
