Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

After breakfast, our 5-day Morocco journey begins. We’ll take the Tizi-N-Tichka route from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. Along the way, we’ll visit the Telouet Kasbah and the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a World Heritage Site since 1987. Next, we’ll head to the city of Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can visit the Atlas Studios film studio. We’ll also stop at the Taourirt Kasbah before continuing to Skoura to see the Amridil Kasbah. Finally, we’ll reach the Dades Valley, where you’ll stay overnight in a riad or hotel.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, we’ll head to the Todra Gorges to admire the stunning scenery. We’ll stop to explore the cliffs and the river, where you may see climbers scaling the tall, narrow walls. Then, we’ll continue to Merzouga, with a stop in the village of Touroug. Along the way, we’ll visit an oasis to learn about traditional irrigation methods and Erfoud, famous for its fossils and dates. Finally, we’ll arrive in Merzouga for dinner and an overnight stay in a riad or hotel.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Excursion

Today you’ll explore the best of Morocco’s desert. After breakfast, we’ll take a desert excursion through Merzouga. First, we’ll visit Khamlia, an African village mainly inhabited by Malians, to enjoy their music. Next, we’ll drive to meet local nomads living in traditional tents, and lunch will be served either there or in Khamlia. After returning to the hotel, the adventure continues with a camel ride through the golden sand dunes. We’ll stop to watch the unforgettable sunset before arriving at the desert camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner, traditional music, and overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

In the morning, enjoy a sunrise over the dunes, followed by a shower and breakfast. Then, we’ll return by camel to the hotel. Our journey continues to Rissani, where you’ll visit its charming traditional market. Next, we’ll take a scenic route through the Draa Valley, stopping for photos along the way. We’ll continue to Ouarzazate, visit its oasis, and then head to the historic village of Ait Ben Haddou. Here, you can explore the Kasbah, a famous filming location featured in shows like Game of Thrones. Overnight stay in this historic village.

Day 5: Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

On the final day, we’ll return to Marrakech. After breakfast, we’ll stop to enjoy breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains. We’ll also visit an argan oil cooperative to learn about their products. Finally, we’ll drive through the mountain landscapes back to Marrakech, concluding your 5-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.
