Tour 10-day from Tangier to Marrakech and Merzouga

Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

We will meet you at the airport or your riad on the first day of your 10-day tour from Tangier. Then, we will visit the Hercules Caves and other attractions in Tangier. Afterward, we will head to Tetouan and continue through the villages of the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, enjoying the stunning mountain scenery along the way. Chefchaouen is one of the most picturesque towns in the Rif, with its Spanish-style blue medina full of craft shops, restaurants, and terrace cafés. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, we continue the tour. We will travel to Volubilis via Ouazzan and other Rif villages. There, we will explore the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history. Next, we continue to Meknes, a 17th-century city full of monuments. You will have time for lunch and to visit sites such as Bab El Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later, we head to Fez, where you will stay overnight in a riad.

Day 3: Fez City Tour

Today you will explore the ancient medina of Fez, the oldest city in Morocco. A local guide will accompany you through its streets and bazaars. You will visit the Royal Palace gate, the tanneries, the Jewish quarter, and historic sites such as Al-Qarawiyyin University. You will also visit the Attar Museum and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idris. Afterwards, you will see a pottery cooperative and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga

After breakfast, we will travel toward Errachidia and Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop in Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou to see monkeys. Lunch will be in Midelt, followed by crossing the Tizi-N-Talghamt Pass. We will continue to Errachidia and stop in the Ziz Valley to admire the oasis. Then, we will visit Erfoud and its date market. Finally, we arrive in Merzouga, where you will be welcomed with mint tea before dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert Tour

After breakfast, we will begin a 4×4 tour of the Erg Chebbi desert. We will visit Khamlia to listen to Gnawa music, explore ancient mines in Mifis, meet nomadic families, and see an oasis. After lunch in Khamlia, we return to the accommodation to start a camel ride to the desert camp. You will spend the night in the desert with music, sandboarding, and the chance to watch the sunrise and sunset. Overnight under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

We will wake up early to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, we travel toward Tinghir, passing through Rissani, Jorf, and Touroug. We will visit the Todra Gorges, a spectacular area with high cliffs, ideal for walking and climbing. Lunch will be there, and then we continue to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel or riad.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, we head toward Ouarzazate, passing through Kalaat M’Gouna. The Dades Valley road is known as the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.” We will stop in the Valley of the Roses, famous for its rose water. We continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where we will visit the Atlas Studios. Then we go to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where films like Gladiator and The Mummy were shot. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Marrakech City Tour

After breakfast, you will take a guided tour of Marrakech. You will visit Jemaa El-Fna Square, the Majorelle Gardens, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. You will also walk through the streets of the medina. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira

After breakfast, we travel to Essaouira. This city is known for its Portuguese architecture and peaceful atmosphere. On the way, we will see goats climbing argan trees. In the afternoon, you will explore the medina, famous for its crafts and silver jewelry. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 10: Essaouira – Airport

On the final day of the tour, after breakfast, we will transfer you to Marrakech or Casablanca airport. End of services.
