Day 1 – Casablanca to Boulajoul (Near Midelt)
The desert tour from Casablanca begins early, traveling along scenic routes that pass through Kasbat Tadla and Zaouiat Cheikh. As the journey progresses, the plains give way to the Middle Atlas Mountains, surrounded by cedar forests, fertile valleys, and authentic Berber villages that reflect rural Moroccan life.
In the afternoon, arrival in the peaceful village of Boulajoul, near Midelt, where a traditional Moroccan dinner and accommodation in a cozy mountain guesthouse await. A perfect start to your 5-day adventure toward the Sahara, surrounded by nature and local hospitality.
Day 2 – Boulajoul to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
After breakfast, the journey continues through Midelt, Errachidia, and the impressive Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and spectacular gorges. A short stop in Erfoud will let you experience its desert atmosphere and fossil tradition. Then, arrival in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara.
At sunset, the most anticipated experience begins: a camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. At the Berber camp, enjoy a traditional dinner, live music, sandboarding, and an unforgettable night under a star-filled sky.
Day 3 – Merzouga: Full Day Desert Exploration
Start the day witnessing the sunrise over the dunes, a unique spectacle of the Moroccan desert. After breakfast, spend the day discovering the treasures of Merzouga and its surroundings: visit the village of Khamlia to listen to gnawa music, meet nomadic families of the Sahara, and explore hidden oases and seasonal lakes amid the vast desert.

Day 4 – Merzouga to Dades Valley
After breakfast, depart for Rissani, an ancient caravan city. Visit a Berber cooperative producing traditional clothing, then continue to the impressive Todra Gorges, where cliffs rise over 300 meters, creating a perfect landscape for walking and photography.
In the afternoon, arrive at the charming Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Admire its striking red rock formations and panoramic views. Dinner and overnight stay in a charming hotel surrounded by mountains and tranquility.
Day 5 – Dades Valley to Marrakech
After breakfast, continue along the famous “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs,” passing through the Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses. Visit a women’s cooperative producing argan oil to learn about the traditional artisanal process of this iconic Moroccan product. Then, explore the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
The journey continues across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops to capture its spectacular landscapes. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon, marking the end of an unforgettable 5-day tour filled with history, culture, and adventure in the Moroccan Sahara.
